Frequently asked questions
-
Our translation agency works with more than 40 language pairs, so we can offer solutions for almost any linguistic need. Our most common languages include English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Serbian, Slovak, Czech, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese—but we also undertake translations in less common languages.
Whether it's European, Asian, Middle Eastern, or African languages, our native-speaking translators and language experts ensure accurate, culturally appropriate text creation.
If you have any questions regarding a specific language pair, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to provide you with personalised information!
-
The time required to complete a translation depends on several factors:
The length of the text (number of words, number of pages)
The language pair (there are rare languages or language combinations)
The field (e.g. legal and medical texts may be more specialised)
The type of the requested service (only translation, or proofreading and DTP as well)
In general, a translator can translate approximately 1,500–2,500 words per working day, depending on the type of the text.
We can produce shorter texts within 24 to 48 hours, and we provide detailed time estimates and schedules for larger projects.
We always provide an exact deadline after we have seen the text and after consultation. Just ask for a quote, and we'll get back to you soon with our earliest offer!
-
We generally deliver the finished translation in electronic form, typically in Word (.docx) or PDF format, depending on your needs.
If required, paper-based receipt is also available:
We will send it to you by mail.
Or it can be picked up in person at our office at an agreed time.
-
Yes, urgent translations are possible, and we always strive to be flexible in meeting the requested deadline.
However, quality is our top priority, so we only accept deadlines that are realistically achievable. If we are unable to guarantee the accuracy or professional standard of the translation due to the shortness of the requested deadline, we will openly communicate this and suggest an alternative solution.
In case of urgent needs, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assess the possibilities!
-
The price of a translation is influenced by many factors in addition to the length of the text, e.g. how rare the language pair is, what specialised knowledge the text requires (e.g. medical, technical), and how tight the deadline is. Yes, we undertake multilingual translation simultaneously, even into several target languages at once.
Thanks to our extensive network of translators and our project management system, we are able to work in coordination with multiple translators, ensuring that different language versions are completed at the same time, each with the same quality and terminology.
-
Throughout the translation process, we maintain flexible and continuous communication with our clients—whatever is most convenient for you.
We generally discuss the details, ask for clarification if necessary, and send back the finished material via email.
If necessary, we are also available by phone or in online meetings (e.g. Teams, Zoom).
We always start the process by assigning a project manager to your project who will accompany you throughout the process and assist you with any questions you may have.
Our goal is to ensure that the workflow is smooth, transparent, and meets your needs.
-
We work with a wide range of formats, so we can accept and process almost any type of document, including:
Text files: Word (.doc, .docx), Excel, PowerPoint, PDF
Web content: HTML, XML, JSON, CMS-based texts (e.g. WordPress exports)
Technical documentation: CAD drawings, InDesign, AutoCAD files (with DTP preparation)
Image formats: JPG, PNG, scanned documents (processed with OCR)
The size of the document is not an obstacle: we even handle projects of several thousand pages, whether they are contracts, user manuals, legal or technical documents, or complete website localisations.
If you are unsure whether your document is suitable, feel free to send it to us and our colleagues will give you feedback on its suitability for processing.
-
We consider feedback to be extremely important, as it helps us ensure that the end result meets your expectations perfectly.
We welcome any comments or requests regarding translations, whether they relate to style, terminology, or content.
We handle corrections quickly and flexibly, and after the necessary consultations, we make the necessary changes as soon as possible.
If we are requested to use a client-specific terminology list or style guide, these will always be given priority.
For larger projects, it is also possible to refine partial translations based on your feedback.
Our goal is to ensure that the final text perfectly matches your requirements not only in terms of language, but also in terms of content and style—that's why your opinion matters!
-
We generally offer a 14-day payment deadline from the date of issuance of the invoice. In the case of individual agreements, we are of course flexible in adapting to our customers' needs.
If you need a longer payment deadline, please let us know in advance so that we can find the best solution together.
